David, It was a great experience to spend time in a small locale in Italy and to meet some fine Italians. I especially loved the views from the Bottega day and night and the neighborhood walks. Thinking about composition everywhere and painting our surroundings made this trip a winner. Thank you for your gentle guidance in all aspects of the trip and everyone else for great camaraderie.

In the last few years, I’ve attended six great watercolor workshops sponsored by David Beale’s Picture House. I’ve painted at Jim Thorpe, PA, Barcelona, Spain, and more than four different locations in Ireland. On every outing we’ve taken, I’ve been super impressed by the things we’ve experienced, and the many awesome painting opportunities we’ve been given. There’s always a nice mix of people with many skill levels who just enjoy painting, and the chance to expand their abilities and be exposed to new ideas and good times. I’d certainly recommend any workshop being sponsored by David as a true learning adventure.
